The Knights of St. Columba is an organisation of Catholic men concerned with good works.
The Chelmsford branch (or Council) consists of the four parishes with about 50 members who meet once a month on Wednesday evenings. The objective is to support the clergy and parishes in the area, to help each other develop in faith and to work to promote Christian values. There is an active social programme, including large and small social events, trips and visits and a quiz with other Councils in the Diocese. Both local and national activities are supported.
The Council is committed to the work of Churches Together in Chelmsford. There is internal support for members by prayer and spiritual events that serve to refresh and renew.
New members are always welcome, new and fresh ideas are welcome too.
