The Liturgy Committee

The roles of the Liturgy Committee are to:

• Assist and work with the priest to promote and enhance good liturgy;
• Ensure the availability of liturgical books for the mass i.e. the mass and hymn books used by the congregation and the books used by the readers;
• Produce a readers rota;
• Prepare the prayers of the faithful;
• Ensure good music to enhance the celebration of the mass.

The Committee is currently in abeyance but the aim is to re-establish it in the not too distant future. The Committee will include the priest, the deacon, the MC, a representative associated with the readers rota and a representative from the choir.
