The 9am Sunday mass at St Augustine's is very popular and includes many young families, whilst the 10.45am Sunday mass at New Hall is set in more historic surroundings.
The children's liturgy takes place during the 9.00am and 10.45am masses. Ages range from three to eight. The children leave after the Opening Prayer for their own Liturgy of the Word and return at the Offertory, often processing with work relating to the readings. It is a wonderful opportunity for children to develop an appropriate understanding of the mass and offers parents space for their own reflection.
Refreshments are served in St Augustine's small hall after the 9.00am Sunday mass and in New Hall's school refectory after the 10.45am Sunday mass.
