THE MOST HOLY TRINITY (C)
(Day for Life)
16th June 2019
Dear Parishioner,
The feast of the Most Holy Trinity, which we celebrate today, brings us face to face with the mystery of God. There is
a longing in every human heart, placed there by God himself, for the truth. It is the Spirit who leads us to the
complete truth which is God himself, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is the revelation which Jesus came to bring;
when the Spirit of truth comes he will lead you to the complete truth. It is the eternal wisdom of
which the first reading today from the book of Proverbs speaks: from the beginning, before earth came into
being.
This weekend is very special for me as I celebrate thirty years as a parish Deacon. I thank you all for the support,
encouragement and prayers you have given to me. Please pray for me that I continue to be at service to you all and to
bring Christ into your lives.
God bless you all,
Deacon Kevin.
