Dear Parishioner,
I wish and pray that you are keeping fine. In this week as we reflect on prayer, I ask you to keep me in your prayers
as I will do the same for you. I will go to Lourdes and Fatima on a coach pilgrimage for 10 days. Let us mutually be
united in prayers.

KNIGHTS OF ST. COLUMBA CENTENARY SONGS OF PRAISE KSC are arranging a Songs of Praise at Our Lady
Immaculate on Friday 4 October, at 19.30. 10 guests from the Church, civic and community life of Chelmsford will be
presenting their favourite hymns to be sung together. A range of popular hymns will underline the connections of KSC
to the life of Chelmsford and celebrate our contribution over the years. All are welcome, please put the date in your
diaries.

KNIGHTS OF ST. COLUMBA ANNUAL LECTURE, 2 OCTOBER Date for your diary! KSC have an Annual Lecture,
featuring a well-known or knowledgeable speaker, as a service to the Catholic Community in Chelmsford. This year we
will welcome Helen O'Shea, the national President of SVP, speaking at St. Augustine's, Springfield, on
Wednesday 2 October, at 20.15 (there will be Mass beforehand at 19.30). As well as the essential local works of
mercy, SVP have a national presence and she will be speaking about the range of their activity. All are welcome.

CALAIS LIGHT Ever wanted to help the refugees in Calais who are without resources, hungry,
struggling? We run weekend convoys from Brentwood to volunteer with refugee charities there. We feel strongly that
part of our Christian mission is to support them. Please think about this & volunteer. Next Trips:
